Draper Lake Mountain Bike Park - This bike and trail running area is 6-miles of some of the best trails around Oklahoma City. You will spot some Oklahoma wildlife when in this area.

Lake Hefner Trail - This 9.4-mile trail is perfect form March to October when in Oklahoma City. Bring your pet and look out at the beautiful views of this lake, with wildflowers nearby. 

Lake Overholser - If you are looking for a getaway, you have to check out Lake Overholser. This trail handles bikers, horses, and you can take a canoe around the lake as well.

Bluff Creek Trail - The paved 1.4-mile access point is one of the best places in and around Oklahoma City. Ideal for the weekends and evenings, this trail is known as "a nice slice of nature." 

National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum - This museum, established in 1955, is all about Western artifacts and art of the American West. Over the last 65 years, there have been over 10 million visitors to this museum.

American Banjo Museum - If you are a fan of music, then you need to hit up the American Banjo Museum. With over 300 banjos to gaze at, the museum is all about the preservation of bluegrass, world music, and more.

National Softball Hall of Fame - This museum is home to the best softball personnel of all-time. With over 45 years running, this is a must-see attraction to check out the history of the game.

Red Earth Festival - While in Oklahoma City, you have to go to the Red Earth Festival. With artists, food booths, and native dancing, you can spend an entire day there. 

99s Museum of Women Pilots - If you are a fan of aviation, you have to check out the 99s Museum of Women Pilots. The museum takes you on an adventure of plotting out the first women in aviation.

When to go to Twin Fountains RV Park

The summer is probably the most unforgiving time when coming out to Oklahoma City. This weather is usually humid and hot, hot, hot. The winter can dip right around freezing, but the fall is the best time of the year to come out. This part of the season is when the weather is mild. You can expect manageable temperatures and little to no rain.
