This RV park and campground is located about a 10-minute drive from the Atlantic City Boardwalk and Casinos. It is also near other attractions like public golf courses, great beaches, nature reserves, and excellent restaurants.

To get to Pomona RV Park, take the Atlantic City Express Way to Exit 12 then take Route 575 North for 3 miles. The campground will be on the right.

This campground contains 100 campsites, 65 of which are available. The maximum length of the park’s RV pads is 35 by 60 feet. There are 10 pull through sites.

The Pomona RV Park is a great place to stay during the summer months when the weather is perfect to hit the beach and explore Atlantic City. The hottest month of the year in Pomona is July with highs around 84°F. The coldest month of the year is January with lows around 26°F.

The months with the most pleasant weather in Pomona include May, June, and September with average temperatures typically falling between 70°F and 80°F.

A benefit of staying at the Pomona RV Park is the abundance of golf courses in the area. There are 24 golf courses within 20 miles of the town, including 16 courses that are open to the public. So grab your clubs and head out to try your luck. The Galloway National Golf Club is rated as one of the best courses in the area. You can also try out the equally well-known Atlantic City Country Club or Hidden Creek Golf Club.

Relax on the Beach

Travelers who visit in the summer can enjoy some of the area’s world-class beaches. The Atlantic City Boardwalk has its own free beach that is relatively uncrowded and conveniently located near the casinos, shops, and restaurants. If you are looking for more idyllic beaches, head to Brigantine Beach, Margate Beach, Cape May, or Ocean City Beach.

Visit Batsto Village

Batsto Village is a historic site that dates back to 1766 and is just as beautiful as it is interesting. Stop here to explore the quiet and sweet colonial buildings of this old iron and glassmaking town and enjoy taking a trip back to the days of early America. In the 1700s, the people of Batsto Village manufactured supplies for the Continental Army.

Visit the Historic Smithville and Village Green

The Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge covers 47,000 acres of New Jersey coastal land. This wildlife refuge is also a great place for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing.

The Wharton State Forest is full of rivers and streams that are great for kayaking or canoeing. The forest also has plenty of hiking, biking, and riding trails. Explore these forests to journey around numerous beautiful lakes and try your luck at spotting local wildlife such as bald eagles, great-horned owls, ospreys, swans, bluebirds, purple martins, foxes, and deer.

Attend a Park Activity

Pomona RV Park is great for travelers who want to enjoy local events and activities within the community. In July and August, the park hosts activities every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They also host plenty of activities during holidays. Enjoy crafts and breakfast on Mother’s Day, volleyball and barbecue on Memorial Day, music and omelets on Father’s Day, Saturday pig roasts, rib dinners, live music, and more.

When to go to Pomona RV Park and Campground

Pomona RV Park and Campground is open from April 1st to October 31st. Although they do have limited camping options available during the winter, visitors will experience the best weather during the park’s regular season. The best time to visit to enjoy the beaches and sunny weather is from June to August.

If you want to get slightly better rates, book during the off season (April 1st to May 21st, or after October 15th). Off season weather is slightly cooler but is still comfortable and great for hitting the boardwalk and enjoying local wildlife parks.

The park is both pet and kid friendly offering free entrance for pets and children under 3. There is also an onsite game room, playground, and swimming pool to keep everyone entertained.

Available Hookups

Available hookups cover all the necessities like water, electric, and sewer (50 and 30/20/15 amp). The park offers free cable and Wi-Fi hookups as well as hot showers.

There is free Wi-Fi access at overnight sites and in the onsite park. Each campsite supports 4 separate devices.

Recreational Facilities

Other recreational facilities at the park include the 25 by 50-foot swimming pool with a water slide, hot tub with jacuzzi, playground, fire ring, game room, and campground store. There are also laundry and shower facilities.
