Where is Beach Rose RV Park?

This RV Park is located off Route 1A and is only one mile from Salisbury Beach. It is a great spot for a relaxing beach holiday and is conveniently located near Boston, Maine, and New Hampshire. Ride your bike to the beach or catch a train to explore America’s east coast.

How to get there:

Take I-495 or I-95 to Route 110 East. Follow Route 110 until you reach Salisbury Center and Route 1. Take Route 1 North until Beach Road. Take a right onto Beach Road and head towards Salisbury Beach. Beach Rose RV park will be on the left.

How Big is Beach Rose RV Park?

Beach Rose RV Park has 50 RV lots. Each space has a width of 30 feet and a length of 100 feet. There are 25 paved sites and 25 grass sites. Although the RV park itself is a little small, it is big rig friendly and has both shaded and sunny spacious lots available.

The weather at Beach Rose is typical of the coastal northeastern US. The warm season is from June to September and the cold season lasts from December to March.

During the warm summer, the average high in the area is around 80°F while the average lows are around 64°F. The hottest month of the year is July with average highs of 82°F.

In the cold season, average temperatures are below 44°F. The coldest temps of the year are often seen in January with an average low of 21°F.

The best time to visit Massachusetts to enjoy the ocean is in the summer and fall. Beach Rose RV Park is open for business from April 1st to November 15th.

Cost of Staying in Beach Rose RV

The cost of two people staying at Beach Rose ranges from $55 to $75 per night depending on the time of the year and whether or not you stay during a holiday. For RVs with more than two people, the fee per additional adult is $8 per night. The fee for children under 16 it is $2 per night.

Beach Rose RV Park is very dog-friendly and the fee for pets is $2 per night with a maximum of two pooches allowed per lot.

There is a daily visitors fee of $5.

Things to do at Beach Rose RV Park

Our favorite thing about Beach Rose RV Park is its location a mile from Salisbury Beach. The park is also near bus and train lines which makes exploring the top attractions in the area easy. Bike to the beach, take a train to Boston, relax in the park pool, go deep sea fishing, or enjoy any of the other fun activities nearby.

Explore Local Beaches

Walk on over to the Salisbury Beach State Reserve where you can hang out on the beach, swim, boat, or explore the 3.8-mile coastline. This state reserve is full of ocean wildlife including shorebirds, crabs, and ocean critters. While there, make sure to check out the point where the Merrimack River meets the Atlantic.

If you are looking for a long sandy beach, head to Newburyport’s Plum Island Beach which is 11 miles long and great for a relaxing day. The island also contains a nature reserve.

The Bridge to Nowhere Trail

If you want to get your nature fix without venturing too far from the RV park, this is the perfect place to explore. The Bridge to Nowhere is an acre-long walking path full of natural East Coast vegetation and landscape. Dogs are welcome!

Take a Train to Boston

Boston is a 50-minute drive or 2-hour train ride from Beach Rose RV Park. Venture into the city to check out the Boston Seaport District, the Museum of Fine Arts, or walk through the famous grounds of Harvard University.

If you are a history lover, don’t miss Faneuil Hall to stand where the founding fathers once stood, and the Freedom Trail to walk through all the most famous historical sites in the city.

Newbury Port Whale Watching and Tours

Catching sight of a Humpback or Finback whale is one of the best ways to truly appreciate the Atlantic. Head to Newbury Port to take a whale watching tour through the Merrimack River and the Gulf of Maine. Besides whales, many tours also spot seals, sharks, sea birds, and porpoises.

After your whale watching trip, make sure to hang around in Newburyport for a few hours to take a walking tour of this historic city. Untapped History is a great option for those who want entertaining and well-researched stories about the patriots who hung out in local taverns plotting the American Revolution and the privateers who patrolled local waterways and smuggled goods past customs.

Beach Rose RV park has its own swimming pool which is perfect for days you just want to relax and not do anything. The pool is heated to keep it comfortable in the colder months and is located near the recreational area.

Take a Kayak or Canoe Trip

There are plenty of rivers and kayak rental shops nearby to choose from. Take the family out to explore the waterways of Bradley Palmer State Park, Willowdale State Forest, or the National Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary. Beach Rose RV Park has a rec room near the pool that is the perfect place to spend some time playing games or relaxing. Inside the rec room and in the outdoor recreation area you can find games such as horseshoes, shuffleboard, bocci ball, and more. There is also a dog park where your furry friends can play and run.

Seacoast Science Center

If you want to learn more about the ocean and all its magnificent creatures, there’s no better place than the Seacoast Science Center. Located in nearby New Hampshire, this center has plenty of interesting exhibits focused on all the incredible critters that live in the salty Gulf of Maine. Check out exhibits on brightly colored corals and fish then head to the touch pools to have some fun and get your hands wet.

Smuttynose Brewery

If you are an IPA-lover then head to New Hampshire to check out Smuttynose Brewery. Here, you can relax on the patio or in the restaurant while sipping on Old Brown Dog or Mysterious Haze. The brewery also has great food at their restaurant and a 9-hole disc golf course that is open to the public. Leashed dogs are welcome.

When to go to Beach Rose RV Park

Beach Rose RV Park is open from April 1st to November 15th when Massachusetts has its best weather. The best time to visit Salisbury is from late June to mid-September if you want to enjoy the beach and sunshine.

April is the best time to visit if you want to beat the crowd and catch some off-season prices. This is also a good time for historical tours and deep sea fishing, although it may be too cold for swimming in the ocean.

This RV park tends to fill up fast on holiday weekends, so make sure to book early if you want to spend a warm summer holiday here. To avoid the crowds at the beach, try to hit the shoulder season in May or October where you will likely still have warm days but will miss the summer rush.

Each lot is equipped with 50/30/20-amp electric hookups as well as water, sewer, and cable. Here you can also find propane, firewood, as well as public restrooms with changing facilities and showers.

Internet

Free Wi-Fi comes with your overnight stay, although there is a limit of two mobile devices per lot. If you need to connect more devices, you can also head to the rec room/park to get on the Wi-Fi there.
