Visitor Center Information: The Visitor Information Office provides park visitors with trip planning information, camping and boating permits, and various orientation sessions for visitors looking to learn more about the backcountry of Glacier Bay. The VIS is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The hours can be impacted by various seasonal exceptions and closures.
