Humboldt Redwoods State Park covers more than 53,000 acres along the Eel River. The park shelters a collection of coastal redwoods, including Rockefeller Forest, the largest remaining old-growth forest in the world. It provides over 100 miles of hiking trails and plenty of fishing and swimming opportunities.
